Gorilla Hostel - Mendoza

Friendly staff, helpful and welcoming. Comfortable room, albeit without A/C. Enjoyed the pool. Nice mix of English and Spanish speakers. Great croissants in the morning.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! I stayed way longer than planned and it was worth it. The breakfast was really nice, beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was great. The location is central and convenient, with a beautiful park nearby. I 100% recommend this hostel and will definitely come back!

I recently stayed at Gorilla Hostel for a few nights and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure I had a great stay. The garden was a beautiful and relaxing spot to hang out and meet fellow travelers. The breakfast provided was a pleasant surprise, with a great variety of delicious options. The hostel's central location made it convenient to explore the area and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The outdoor pool was a welcome treat in the hot weather and the staff was always ready to assist in organizing activities. a fantastic stay with a great social vibe.

Owners are helpful and knowledgeable, personally drove me to the bus terminal when the taxi was late. Staff is welcoming, creating a homely atmosphere. Convenient location near supermarkets and cafes. Enjoyed a tasty breakfast with a variety of options. Great communal area and kitchen facilities for socializing and cooking.

Great staff, comfortable rooms, nice pool, helpful and friendly Brother and Sister, beautiful house, clean and tidy.

loved my recent stay in mendoza, and gorilla hostel made it even better. amazing staff who gave great restaurant and excursion recommendations. slept like a baby in the quiet upstairs room. sweet goodbye gift from the staff made it the best place ever to stay!

bathroom situation needs improvement

The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable, perfect for a romantic getaway. The location was great, with plenty of nearby attractions and restaurants to explore. Additionally, the staff was helpful and friendly, providing recommendations for activities and making sure our needs were met.

The lack of a variety of breakfast options was also a downside. our experience was not as enjoyable as we had hoped.

gorilla hostel was even better than my previous stay in mendoza. the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the organised trips were excellent. the atmosphere was fantastic, and the weekly assado was a highlight. i extended my stay and would highly recommend this hostel.

I recently stayed at Gorilla in Mendoza for 3 weeks and had a fantastic time. The staff, especially Belu, was extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure my comfort. The room was cozy, and even though there was no A/C, they provided a floor fan. The pool was a great addition, and the hostel had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The location was convenient, just two blocks away from calle Aristides, where there were plenty of bars and restaurants to explore. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning.

Wifi in room was spotty.

I recently stayed at Gorilla Hostel for a week and it was a fantastic experience. The staff, especially Belen the owner, were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed. The hostel was kept impeccably clean and tidy, thanks to the hardworking staff. The breakfast served every morning was absolutely delicious. The outdoor area with a barbecue and large dining table created a great social atmosphere, and I met some wonderful people during my stay. Additionally, the hostel is conveniently located near a main road with plenty of restaurants and bars.

The hostel had a really cozy and homey feel to it, which made it a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city. The lounge area was perfect for chilling out and watching Netflix, and it was a great way to nurse a hangover from all the amazing red wine in the area. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially one particular staff member who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They gave us fantastic recommendations for visiting the wineries by bike, which was a unique and fun experience. Additionally, the hostel had a great social atmosphere, making it easy to meet new people and have a great time.

There were a few downsides to our stay. There were no quiet hours enforced, which meant that it could get quite noisy at night, especially if you were looking for an early night.

I got great value for my money at this awesome hostel. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect, just two blocks away from a lively street filled with cool bars and restaurants. The staff treated me like family and made me feel welcome.

The breakfast selection could have been improved by ensuring everything was ready by 8:30 am.
